Wind River accelerates development of data center switches with SDN optimization method

Open network software is a complete open software environment in order to develop network switches using software defined network (SDN, Software Defined Networking) methods and architecture. Fujitsu has become the first batch of users of Wind River Open Network Software.

With the explosive growth of network data and traffic, network resources and connectivity requirements have repeatedly exceeded limits. The software-defined network technology can virtualize data center resources to provide more centralized and flexible network control. Wind River Open Network Software has truly separated the data plane from the control plane, enabling enterprises to manage the network through abstract methods of virtual services, while accelerating the application of new technologies such as SDN and cloud computing.
