Compared with the company ’s existing 15kW and 30kW solutions, its characteristic is that the package size is 50%. The new TVS diode has a voltage range of 10V to 48V and meets the requirements of the RTCA DO-160 industry standard for aircraft lightning protection.
The unique features of the new product include Microsemi ’s patented low-side high PLAD surface mount package, which allows product developers to reduce board space and overall component weight. This highly integrated single-component diode is more reliable than alternative multi-device solutions and is suitable for demanding aerospace, military, automotive, and industrial applications.
