Flexible OLED display technology makes future electronic products full of infinite possibilities

Including EMS manufacturers, well-known academic institutions, and the US Department of Energy, in the recent period, they have allied themselves for the display technology of the next generation electronic devices, or invested in new development work. These efforts are expected to further accelerate the expansion of advanced display technology.

Earlier, Sanmina-SCI signed an agreement with solar inverter manufacturer KACO new energy Inc .; Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) demonstrated solar panels that can be printed on paper; and is located in Rochester EMagin at the University of Technology is working with the US Department of Energy to develop the next generation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).

OLED is a technology that can develop displays on flexible substrates. Supporters of OLED displays promise that one day, consumers will be able to bring solar powered displays that can be rolled up no matter where they are, and their size may be about the same as a cigar.

This is definitely possible. OLED has been widely used in smart phones, digital cameras and other electronic products. OLED requires little or no backlight, it can be sprayed on glass, plastic or other substrates. OLED can develop flexible displays, and is more suitable for bright sunlight, because OLED is different from other display technologies, it does not require a light source.

But as of now, the adoption of OLED displays still has some limitations, because they are still mostly used on small screens. However, some companies, including eMagin, have been working to improve the manufacturing technology of OLED, hoping to make it applicable to large-size displays. Another obstacle to the popularity of OLEDs is that OLEDs need luminescent materials.

Andrew G. Sculley, president and CEO of eMagin, said that although OLEDs can provide more efficient, brighter, and faster electronic displays, about 80% of the light is still wasted. Therefore, in cooperation with the US Department of Energy, it will be possible to significantly improve the luminous efficiency of the device by developing a technology using nanoparticles based on light scattered by plasmons.

The better news is that OLED may be powered by solar energy. MIT researchers showed a solar panel that can be printed on paper earlier. According to reports, this paper photovoltaic array is constructed by an oxidative chemical vapor deposition process at a temperature below 120 ° C. Not only ordinary non-coated paper, but also cloth or plastic can be used. Researchers at MIT printed the solar cell on a layer of PET plastic and then folded it 1,000 times and found that it would still work.

It is indeed feasible to develop flexible, solar-powered OLED displays, however, mass production capacity is also indispensable. EMS Sanmina-SCI is working with inverter manufacturer KACO to reduce the manufacturing cost of solar power products.

In addition, Sanmina-SCI also set up a core team for new products, and set up a new dedicated production line to conduct design and assembly analysis, design custom tool sets, establish detailed documents, and also establish a new independent global supply chain and Logistics support system.

Display technology is becoming the key to all electronic products, including Apple, and is also committed to consolidating the source of its iPad display components. OLED is a technology that can help current display manufacturers overcome power consumption challenges. In the future, OLED technology is likely to change the rules of the game, allowing electronics manufacturers to combine power saving, flexibility and strong manufacturing capabilities to develop brand new products.

Automotive Fuse

Automotive Fuseie Car Fuse , is the name we are often called. Its official name is "fuse protector." The use of Automotive Fuse Block is very similar to that of household fuses, which act as a circuit protection barrier when the circuit current is abnormal and exceeds its rated current. Vehicle fuses are broadly divided into two types of fast-blow fuses and slow-blow fuses.

A car is made of Car Fuse, Automotive Switches and other kinds of Automotive Accessories, and the Automotive Switches including Automotive Rotary Switches, Automotive Battery Switches, Automotive Rocker Switches

Automotive Fuse

Inline Fuse Holder include high-current fuses and medium-low current fuses. Medium and low current fuses are generally easier to reach. Low-to-medium current fuses can be broadly classified as chip fuses (including automatic fuse box mini-fuse), plug-in fuses, screw-on fuses, and tube fuse box fuses. Among them, we are able to access medium-sized ATO or small-size fast-acting chip fuses. Chip fuses can carry small currents, short pulse currents, such as headlamp circuits, post-glass defrosting, and more.
