Diodes has expanded its MOSFET portfolio with the introduction of a new 60V N-channel device designed specifically for Voice over IP (VoIP) applications. The newly launched DMN60xx series is optimized to handle high pulse currents needed for generating both positive and negative line feeds (Tip and Ring Linefeeds), as well as to withstand avalanche energy from power switches. This makes it ideal for use in transformer-based Subscriber Line Interface Circuits (SLICs) within DC/DC converters for basic switching functions.

The DMN60xx series includes four different package options to suit various design needs. These include the DMN6068SE in SOT223, the DMN6068LK3 available in TO252 and SO8 packages, the single MOSFET DMN6066SSS, and the dual MOSFET DMN6066SSD, which can replace two separate devices. This helps reduce the number of components on the PCB and lowers overall system costs.
