Recently, the 2017 Baidu World Congress took place in Beijing, drawing thousands of developers and partners from across the globe. Starting in October this year, Baidu kicked off the first stop of the Baidu AI Developer Camp in Shenzhen, introducing the “Liaoyuan†AI Developer Support Program. On November 30th, the Baidu AI Developer Camp is returning to Guangdong, with a major AI-themed exchange event taking place in Guangzhou. This event aims to welcome the enthusiasm of South China’s AI developers and offer them an unforgettable experience.
The Guangzhou station promises to deliver an "AI feast" to all attendees, offering a deep dive into the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. Baidu currently holds one of the most comprehensive and advanced AI open platforms in China, offering over 80 AI capabilities ranging from voice recognition, facial recognition, natural language understanding, knowledge graphs, data intelligence, and more. These technologies cover almost every known area of artificial intelligence.
In addition to the popular "Face Face Sign-in" feature used at previous events, Guangzhou Station will also bring this solution closer to local developers. Based on Baidu’s facial recognition meeting sign-in system, this feature is not only comprehensive and easy to use but also covers the entire conference process. It is now available to developers for free. Senior Baidu AI engineers will also provide insights into how this technology is applied in different fields and the underlying technical implementation.
Baidu’s voice technology and the UNIT platform for language understanding and interaction are built upon Baidu’s strong foundation in natural language processing and big data. These tools offer third-party developers various technical capabilities through APIs. At the event, the focus will be on speech recognition technology and its real-world applications, showcasing the core technologies behind UNIT's industry-leading requirements understanding, dialogue control, machine learning, natural language processing, and knowledge mining. This will help developers quickly integrate conversational AI into their products.
Since its launch, PaddlePaddle, Baidu’s open-source deep learning framework, has gained widespread popularity among developers. It supports a wide range of deep learning models such as DNN, CNN, RNN, and even complex memory models like NTM. Built on Spark, it supports Python and C++ languages and offers distributed computing capabilities. At the event, senior Baidu AI engineers will guide participants through hands-on workshops, explaining how to apply PaddlePaddle effectively in real-world cases.
