Among them, PHILIPS Lumileds also released LUXEON LED flip chip in February this year to lock the customer base into a lighting manufacturer. According to PHILIPS Lumileds, LUXEON LED flip-chips can be packaged more tightly and can be driven at high currents compared to conventional wire-bonding configurations, so customers need only a few light-emitting components. A higher lumen output can be achieved at higher current densities.
