If you're dealing with a coil-type ballast (inductive) setup, simply removing the direct starter allows you to replace the fluorescent tube with an LED one. For even better efficiency, you could bypass the ballast entirely, eliminating any losses. It's a straightforward fix!

For those using an electronic ballast, the process is slightly more complex. You'll need to disconnect specific wires as illustrated earlier and then supply power directly to the second end of the LED tube. This step is best handled by professionals due to safety concerns.
