Design of Wireless Intelligent Lighting System Based on ZigBee Network

At present, there are a variety of smart home scene lighting solutions on the market, among which ZigBee technology networking and MCU control schemes are widely used due to their low cost, low power consumption and easy implementation. This paper proposes an intelligent control system that uses ZigBee technology to set up a wireless network with ARM9 core MCU, communicates with TCP/IP protocol, and can control each LED light in the home to realize brightness control and scene conversion.

1 Wireless ZigBee Network

ZigBee is an emerging short-range, low-rate wireless network technology. It is a technical solution between wireless tag technology and Bluetooth technology. It is mainly used for short-range wireless connection and has its own radio standard in thousands. A small sensor coordinates with each other to achieve communication. These sensors require very little energy to relay data from one sensor to another in a relayed manner, so communication efficiency is very high [1-2].

ZigBee adopts self-organizing network to realize networking. This architecture is called wireless LAN of wireless infrastructure, and there is no limit to the number of devices inside the network, and wireless communication links can be established at any time. The coordinator is always in the * state, and the newly added RFD will be discovered in time [3].

2 System Planning

The overall networking adopts a tree cluster structure, that is, one unit per room, each lamp in the room is used as a terminal device, and each router is provided with one router for communicating with the coordinator and to each of the rooms. The terminal device forwards the data [4]. The overall structure layout and networking mode is shown in Figure 1.

In terms of function setting, since the functions of different rooms are different, the functions of the terminal devices of each room are separately set. In general, all terminal devices in the room are required to switch and control the brightness of the LEDs.
