In scenarios where faults occur on 10kV overhead distribution lines—whether at T-branch connections or within user-end facilities—the coordination between the protection time limits of the line-input switch and the substation outlet switch can sometimes lead to unintended consequences. Specifically, if a fault persists and the substation fails to successfully recombine, the entire 10kV distribution line may lose power. To address this issue, our company has developed the ZW20-12F outdoor user boundary vacuum circuit breaker. This demarcation switch combines a ZW20-12 outdoor pole vacuum circuit breaker body, an FDR-02 fault detection controller, and an external voltage transformer. These components are electrically interconnected via an air socket and outdoor sealed control cable. The circuit breaker is equipped with fault detection, protection, control, and communication functionalities, enabling precise identification and automatic elimination of single-phase ground faults and phase-to-phase short circuits.
The ZW20-12F is an outdoor power distribution device with a rated voltage of 12kV and a frequency of 50Hz. It utilizes vacuum arc extinguishing and SF6 gas as insulating media, adopting Toshiba Corporation's VSP5 gas-sealed, explosion-proof, and insulating structural technology. The inlet and outlet bushings feature enhanced sealing performance, ensuring excellent overall sealing capabilities. The SF6 gas remains stable, unaffected by external environmental conditions. Power Supply Requirements:
During operation, the circuit breaker requires an external power source, which can be either AC or DC 220V. Outdoor fuses are recommended for installation to safeguard the external operating power source.
Structure of the Circuit Breaker Body:
The circuit breaker body comprises a conductive loop, insulation system, seals, and a casing. The conductive loop connects a conductive rod, clips, soft links, and vacuum interrupters. SF6 gas serves as the insulating medium. Integral cast epoxy resin and silicone rubber insulating sleeves ensure robust insulation. A corner bushing design for A and C phases optimizes external insulation. The internal composite insulation structure achieves the necessary insulation levels without SF6 gas. The sealed structure uses stamped grooves for cover sealing and double "O" rings for output pointer shafts, while the inlet and outlet bushings are integrally cast for optimal airtightness.
Actuator Mechanism:
The actuator consists of an electric energy storage device, motor, manual energy storage mechanism, manual clutch, integrated closing spring, energy storage system, overcurrent release device, opening and closing coils, manual closing and opening system, and auxiliary opening and energy storage indicators.
Hoisting and Explosion-Proof Device:
The hoisting device aids in installation, fixing, handling, and lifting. It works alongside explosion-proof features to enhance safety. A flap explosion indicator alerts personnel to potential hazards below the pole.
Working Principle:
Energy Storage: The mechanism stores energy in the closing spring. Electric energy storage involves the motor applying torque to the mechanism's pinion, which drives the main shaft's large sprocket, rotating the arm to store energy. Manual energy storage relies on a similar process, utilizing a manual energy storage transmission mechanism.
Closing: Upon receiving the closing signal, the closing electromagnet's moving iron core moves upward, triggering the closing tripping bar and releasing the closing bar. The stored energy is then released, driving the switch to complete the closing operation. Manual operation mirrors this process, requiring approximately 80-120N of external force.
