Quantum TV sales are worrying: Samsung wants to open up the core technology of the panel

Samsung is the world's largest TV maker and has occupied the top spot for 12 years.

Product types, LED occupy the main force, a small part of the LCD panel.

However, Samsung did not apply OLEDs to large sizes, but developed QLEDs (Light Quality Sub-Points). QLED is Samsung's solution to solve the problem of short OLED burning screen life and high cost. The principle is to use inorganic materials instead, but the image quality that is finally achieved is still beyond the traditional LCD.

At present, the chasers of quantum dot technology include Hisense, TCL, and Vestel.

However, due to the European Union's ban on one of the elements of QLED, Cadmium (Cadmium), QLED's market share is still low. According to IHS statistics, Q1 is 1.5% this year, and Q2 is only 0.7%.

It turned out that Samsung is the only company that can master and produce cadmium-free QLED panels. The price is high, which seriously restricts popularization.

According to a report by the Korea Business Daily, Samsung has decided to open its own cadmium-free QLED panel production technology, hoping to encourage more manufacturers to enter and expand the market.

It is worth mentioning that the current manufacturers of OLED panels are Changhong, Konka, LG, Panasonic, Sony, Philips, Skyworth, Grundig and Loewe.

Battery Cable

Over time, battery cables have to be replaced due to corrosion or damage. A bad battery cable can cause intermittent starting issues or lack of power to the vehicle, including arcing or power drains.A battery cable consists of multiple stands of wire encased in synthetic material with different types of battery terminals on each end for a reliable connection. Corrosion is the number one cause of battery cable failure, stopping the flow of electricity.
