Veeco expects 120 units of MOCVD shipments in the fourth quarter

　　 March 15 news, according to Taiwan media reports, LED equipment manufacturer Veeco CEO John Peeler said recently that 2010 Q4 equipment shipments will see 120 units, much higher than the current 45 units.

Due to the expansion of LED factories, the demand for MOCVD equipment has been driven. It is reported that Veeco announced in October 2009 that the company has received orders for TurboDisc MOCVD equipment from Xiamen Sanan Optoelectronics. Sanan Optoelectronics CEO Simon Lin said at the time that Veeco's high-efficiency MOCVD equipment will be used to expand the high-brightness LED production capacity of Xiamen and Tianjin plants.
