If necessary, a low-pass or band-pass filter can be set at the output of the detector to further improve the receiver's sensitivity. The RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) DC-coupled output uses a low-pass filter (composed of R2 and C5) to filter out modulation components to provide signal strength information.
