Singapore F1 track night lighting test is as bright as white
Singapore will host the world's first Formula One (F1) night road racing on September 28 this year. The organizers tested the lighting system used in the night race on the St. Andrew's Road in front of the government building grass last night. The driveway is illuminated by a projection lamp with a brightness of up to 3,000 lux levels, making people in the field feel like a daytime feeling.
Yi Huaren, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, is satisfied with the lighting system. He said: "This light is very bright. Under such conditions, I believe that all racers will not face any visual problems."
