This development kit offers a linear microphone array solution that enables far-field voice recognition and supports stereo acoustic echo cancellation (AEC). Like all other XMOS VocalFusion solutions, it ensures clear command capture from any location in the room, even in challenging noisy environments, and integrates smoothly with the Alexa voice service. The processor connects directly to four PDM microphones arranged in a linear array with 33.33mm spacing, making it well-suited for integration into flat-panel displays and devices positioned at the “room edge.” This makes the kit particularly valuable for developers aiming to enhance user experiences in home audio-visual setups.
