Because MOCVD is a highly technical industry, Dayang Rishen wants to open up sales in the Chinese market, and needs to be supported by tough technology and professional work teams.
At the same time, Dayang Rishen will face the potential risks of domestic enterprises in MOCVD localization in the future. By the end of last year, a number of listed companies, including Ganzhao Optoelectronics, Tianlong Optoelectronics, Chau Ming Technology, and Qinshang Optoelectronics, have been involved in the R&D and manufacturing of MOCVD in cooperation or capital.
Among them, Ganzhao Optoelectronics purchased a domestic MOVCD from Beijing Esprit Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd. in October last year, and successfully completed the hardware debugging. After testing, the technical indicators of the equipment are no less than the imported MOVCD.
The Institute of Industrial Engineering believes that the reason why Dayang Rishen is now entering the Chinese market may not have been realized before that China has such a large market space. China's LED upstream manufacturers are now accustomed to AIXTRON and VEECO products, which are relatively unfamiliar to Dayang's products, and require a certain amount of time to run-in.
Perhaps based on this, AIXTRON and VEECO China officials said that Dayang Rishen's entry into the Chinese market will not cause too much market impact.
