The name Xu Liancheng enjoys a high reputation in the industry. He is currently the deputy general manager and technical director of Guangdong Zhaoxin Lighting Co., Ltd., and served as a director of the China Lighting Society. As early as the early 1980s, Xu Liancheng participated in the experiment of the third generation of gas discharge lamps. Has long been engaged in landscape lighting, street lighting, stadium lighting design, etc., its own patented products successfully entered Japan, Germany and often participated in the Olympic "Water Cube" lighting experiment. On December 3, 2009, Chen Yumei, general manager of China Lighting Network, led a team of reporters to visit Guangdong Zhaoxin Lighting Co., Ltd. to interview Xu Liancheng, a theoretical and practical lighting expert.

In the office of Xu Liancheng, we saw a lot of lighting works that he personally designed. He said that these are just like my children. After a long period of gestation and cultivation, I finally came up with a proud work. Mr. Xu’s design ideas are innovative, contemporary and contemporary. In his office, he filled the samples of his design. When he introduced us to these "living" lamps, his eyes were filled with passion. He said, I like to study the culture of each place. Every time I go on a business trip, I always want to go. First look at the culture of the city, especially the design of street lamps, but also pay attention to the penetration and development of local culture. LED lighting industry: the middle of the big two small
Xu should be said to be a person full of artist temperament, talking about the future development of LED lighting, but he also showed unusual rationality. He believes that the current development of the LED industry is not yet very balanced, and there are two small and large phenomena. That is to say, too many enterprises pay attention to the intermediate link of the LED industry chain? Packaging production, while the upstream chip development and downstream technology research and development are few. First of all, the chip is the key, LED lighting application research and development is also very important, such as the relevant color temperature, lighting efficiency, light distribution, heat dissipation, modeling, etc. need to make greater progress.
LED industry, repeatedly consider, invest carefully
Xu Liancheng appealed to us, hoping to tell the bosses who are ready to invest in the LED industry through the voice of the media, and must invest carefully. At present, many companies are too blind to invest in LEDs, resulting in a bumpy product on the market. He believes that more people should know and grasp the right direction for the LED industry, and don't let them repeat the mistakes of Wenzhou footwear industry. He said frankly: the development direction of LED street lights must be a colorful and fantastic simulation, which is unmatched by conventional lighting. However, I sighed at the misunderstandings of some LED streetlight companies and the blind investment of some bosses. LED light source as a revolution of the fourth generation of light source, there is no doubt that LED replacement of the original gas discharge lamp is only a matter of time, the future is bright, the road is tortuous, Xu Liancheng said.
At present, traditional lighting is the biggest competitor of LED. At the same time, outdoor LED lighting is subject to optical distribution, color temperature, illumination uniformity, quality, appearance, after-sales service and other constraints in the actual promotion. The field of indoor LED lighting is still in its infancy, but at this stage many companies have already made indoor LED lighting products and have already listed them, but there are often many problems in terms of technology and price. In general, the promotion of indoor LED lighting in China is not the time. It will take at least three years to really promote it. It depends mainly on the development and progress of LED upstream. We are looking forward to the arrival of LED spring.
