The end of an era: Sony will stop producing tape recorders next year

According to foreign media sources, Sony will completely discontinue all tape recorders next year, including models such as the TCM-400/410/450 that will no longer exist next year.

And just two years ago, Sony has stopped production of Walkman series tape players. This means that tape is getting closer and closer to the stage of exiting the historical stage. This year, when you take a tape out, it will surely be laughed by many people, especially after 90 years.

However, Sony will still provide appropriate support for tape recorders for some time to come. While single-function tape devices are being discarded, other multi-function devices using tapes will continue to exist, such as CD players and tape cards. Block Hi-Fi will continue to sell.
