The A728 is composed of a boost conversion control circuit that drives an external power switch and a 12-channel constant current source with a built-in 66V MOSFET. It can drive up to 36W LEDs and is suitable for use in 19" to 24" LED monitor backlights. The expanded master-slave architecture can drive more than 100W of LEDs, enough to drive 30" to 42" LED TV backlights.
