SNB platform customization game strong debut

Eurocom, a custom manufacturer specializing in desktop replacement high-performance notebooks, today announced the launch of a new model gaming laptop with the Huron River (Mobile Sandy Bridge) platform, named Eurocom Racer. Not surprisingly, this new machine should still come from Clevo's blue sky.

The Eurocom Razer is equipped with an Intel HM65 chipset and the processor is available with Core i7-2920XM/2820QM/2720QM and Core i5-2520M/2540M. 4 memory slots support up to 32GB DDR3 1333/1600MHz memory. The MSM 3.0b graphics card supports up to 100W of power consumption graphics card, optional GeForce GTX 485M/480M/470M/460M, Quadro FX 3800M/2800M or Radeon HD 6970M.

Other configurations include: 15.6-inch 1920x1080 resolution LED LCD with optional mirror/matte screen. The dual hard disk drive is available with SSDs, hybrid hard disks, or mechanical hard disks, with a maximum capacity of 1.75 TB. 2x USB 3.0 interface, 2x USB 2.0 interface, 1x eSATA. Dual-link DVI+HDMI video output, 9-in-1 card reader, Gigabit LAN, optional 802.11n, Bluetooth, 3G network card, etc. Audio supports headphone output, microphone input, S/PDIF output, and Line-in input.

Eurocom Racer expects to start shipments on February 1st and the exact price has not yet been announced.
