Recently, Shanxi Changzhi Gaoke Huashang LED epitaxial film investment project and 3 million LED sapphire substrate projects were launched, and 1 billion LTCC LED packaging projects were officially completed and put into production. It is reported that after these projects are fully put into production, they have the opportunity to form an annual output value of 50 billion yuan.
Xu Zuyan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that the Changzhi LED project has realized the completely independent intellectual property rights of sapphire packaging, breaking the embarrassing situation that China's epitaxial wafers and chips have no intellectual property rights.
Zhang Bao, the mayor of Changzhi City, said at the groundbreaking ceremony that on June 25, 2009, Changzhi City led the people to go straight into the semiconductor lighting industry and reached an alliance with Taiwan's optoelectronics enterprises. Today's groundbreaking ceremony marks the vertical integration of Changzhi Optoelectronics Industrial Park. The cluster project has entered the fast lane. This is the largest project between Shanxi Province and Taiwan-funded cooperation. It is also one of the important measures for Shanxi to guide private capital to develop high-tech, adjust economic structure and achieve low-carbon emissions after implementing coal resource integration.
The annual output value will be 6 billion yuan in the near future. After the long-term planning is completed, the annual output value will be more than 50 billion yuan.
