LED bulbs for Singapore 5.6 km Christmas lights

It’s been more than a month before Christmas, but in the past week, Orchard Road and some of Singapore’s major tourist attractions and shopping malls have been lit up with Christmas lights.

Xinming Daily reported that this year, Singapore is promoting energy conservation in the whole country. In response to the government’s call, the Tourism Bureau has switched to LEDs when lighting up the 4km Orchard shopping street and the 1.6km coastal Christmas lights. Light-emitting diodes, which replace the previously used incandescent bulbs, save over 70% of energy usage.
