The world's top 100 innovative companies selected Chinese companies without a list

According to foreign media reports, according to foreign media reports, Thomson Reuters released a report listing among the top 100 most innovative companies in the world, including 40 US companies, 31 Asian companies, and 29 European companies. Although the number of patent applications in China is leading the world, Chinese companies are not on the list because of insufficient patent quality and influence.
The report pointed out that not all applications will be approved, and the cost for companies to apply for a patent is very expensive. In the four major markets of the world, the United States, China, Europe, and Japan, how to protect their own inventions is also one of the indicators to measure the degree of importance that companies attach to intellectual property.
Thomson Reuters stated that innovation has become the cornerstone of economic growth and success. Although the number of patented inventions is an important measure of innovation, the significance of innovation goes far beyond the number of patent applications. The 100 most innovative companies in the world are mainly evaluated in terms of patent application success rate, global patent application, patent influence, and number of innovative patents.
Thomson Reuters also stated that Asia is a global leader in computer hardware manufacturing and automotive manufacturing; the United States is leading in semiconductor and electronic component manufacturing; Europe is in a leading position in machinery manufacturing, among which Swedish companies account for more than half of this category. France is a leader in scientific research, and the list of companies is the largest in European countries.
