Recently, Guangdong Yudean Zhanjiang Biomass Power Generation Project (2×50MW) Unit 2 successfully passed the 72+24-hour full-load test run, indicating that the world’s largest single-capacity and largest installed capacity of biomass power plants has been officially put into commercial operation.
Following the successful operation of Unit 1 of the Zhanjiang Biomass Power Generation Project on August 20 this year, Zhanjiang Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. has experienced difficulties due to difficulties in feeding of biomass fuel, complex and volatile fuel components, and difficulty in fuel organization. In order to overcome difficulties, the safety and high-quality production of Unit 2 was finally achieved. During the trial run, the average load of the unit was 50.3MW, the load rate was 100.6%, and the technical parameters were excellent, which created a new record for domestic biomass power generation.
It is reported that the total installed capacity of the two units of Zhanjiang Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. is 2×50MW, which is the largest biomass power plant in the world with the largest single capacity and the largest installed capacity.
