Renault threatened to launch cheap electric cars in China

In 2011, the global electric vehicle sales volume was only 50,000 units, and in 2015 it increased to 450,000 units.
Renault has introduced the Zoe ZE40 electric car, which has a battery life of up to 250 miles (about 400 kilometers). Zoe is the third-best-selling electric car in the UK and sold 1,000 units in the first half of 2016. The Zoe ZE40 is scheduled to begin sales in January 2017.
